In order to attend club sessions in 2025, all riders need to be a member of the club.  Club membership runs from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.

Club AGM 2024

Western Titans BMX Club Annual General Meeting

The Western Titans BMX Club Annual General Meeting took place on Tuesday 3 September 2024 at Knightswood BMX Centre from 18:00.

Election of Committee

1.  The following members of the committee were all unanimously elected by everyone present at the meeting

Chairperson: Craig Warren
Vice Chair: Warren Bell
Treasurer: Donna Alexander
Secretary: Fred Crowson
Club Welfare Officers (CWO): Karen Johnstone

2.  Winter schedule was discussed with the plan to keep the Thursday Boot Camps going, Saturday Open Gate sessions where possible and Fred would continue to run Saturday coaching sessions.  It was agreed that we would continue our Tuesday sessions at Knightswood.

Other options were discussed such as the Glasgow Ridez session on Mondays, the Movement Park sessions on Thursdays, and whether a Wednesday session would be possible, or extending the Tuesday sessions.

3.  Club Finances, the club currently has approximately £5,000 in the bank.

4.  Current Club Membership fees were unanimously kept at the same rates for 2025:

Child £10
Adult £20
Student £15
Family £25

5. Scottish Open

The upcoming Scottish Open was discussed, Warren offered to get the tuck from the Cash & Carry, and Donna and Karen volunteered to run the tuck shop. Craig volunteered to organise the raffle.  We would ask Rich for speakers, and volunteers to help on the day would be coordinated with Stevie.

Any other business

Further discussion was needed on getting a new generator, and setting up loops for the timing system.
